Thanks for sharing YARDEE. Wow, an entire year long study with at least a 1 hour investment of time that may run longer for each month for 12 months and then they will issue payment. $45.83 per month in earnings might not be too bad if things dont go wrong at some point in between and it doesnt end up actually taking more than 1 hour per month. I was called earlier for this and I'm in. The phone screening was pretty long (20 minutes), but the recruiter told me that I'll need to devote about an hour a month for this project until July 2013. They are NOT going to evenly split the payments each month. Instead, they're going to pay monthly on a sliding scale, with the payments increasing with each passing month throughout the study. It seems like they're doing in order to retain participation. I was told that this is pretty much going to be a blogging study. I've participated in long-term studies before, but never for a year, so I'm looking forward to participating in this one.

Congrats! And thanks for the extra info, it would make sense to give people some of the money after each month, and yep it seems like it is to keep people interested in doing the study. A year is a long time without payment, so I am glad to see they set it up in an easy format.

Thanks guys. I believe that they may still be recruiting for this one, so I hope that you both land a spot.

Also, there are usually additional incentives/payments with long-term studies such as this one, so I'm hoping that I'll wind up making more than $550. And I have a strong feeling that I'll wind up having my taxes prepared for free next year as a result of this study, but we will see.
