Is there anything I can do for this little bird? Updates in #23 & #46

Update:

The bird is still out there, and the mom (and/or dad) are still taking care of it. Today it seems to be spending a lot of time resting but it's still doing alright. It looks like it has grown quite a bit over the past couple of days as well (you may be onto something Iaaaiws, it's looking a little plump!).

Hopefully it'll get the whole flying thing figured out soon.

My apartment is constantly surrounded by disgusting geese and recently I had my mom's 9 lb. dog with me and they were soooooooooooo scared of him. Like, he would be fifty feet away from them and they would bolt. He wouldn't even be remotely interested in them and they were scared. You'd be surprised.

Probably because he was small and a poodle, not something they'd seen before. But a goose can injure an adult. Years ago I had a landlord who had his own pond on his land and the male goose went after him and hurt him pretty bad one time. Don't recall what his injuries were exactly but he had his arm in a sling for a few weeks.

An adult swan can kill a person. There was a guy killed not that long ago by a swan, it was on the news.
