Are there any of these hidden gems that come in the 22-24" sizes?

People need to read the thread before asking the same questions over and over. This item is technically not eligible for warranty by Squaretrade or anyone. YMMV on them honoring it. And it's an open secret the Korean manufacturers are using substandard rejected components to cut costs. Whle an A- panel isn't more prone to premature failure, other out-of-spec electronics may have a shorter lifespan than you'd get with actual brands.

I'm not saying these aren't worth $300, that's your decision. But there is a reason they're only $300.
And you need to read my question before answering so pompously. I didn't ask whether the monitor was eligible for squaretrade warranty. I know there is conflicting information regarding this. Many people have posted online saying that squaretrade reps have stated they will honor warranty, but there isn't any information regarding someone specifically filing a claim and it being accepted and that is simply what I was asking here.

Why are so many concerned with graphics card compatibility? Or worst, people spreading the "Make sure your card supports it". Of course it's true, but any card made in the last few years can drive this resolution. All you need then is able to drive a DVI-D port, which you can do from a DisplayPort, mini-DisplayPort, or HDMI via adapters of course.

Not exactly what most people here think of as out-dated. I think you'll be fine.

you'd be surprised at how many people still own old PCs and laptops with VGA or non dual linked DVI ports. it is something that you should check BEFORE buying this or thats 300 dollars down the drain.

Yeah, but those aren't graphic card solutions, it's integrated crap =P and I did say within the last few years. True nonetheless.

the more people order this monitor the higher your chance of gettimg a defective piece, since they are A- to begin with.

I was initially against these because I'm something of a warranty whore, but when they dropped sub-300 a few weeks ago, I took the splurge on a Shimian tempered glass model.

Though it's basically no settings, no frills, for the most part, the only thing that matters is the display. Does it have the design, warranty, and thunderbolt dock features of the Apple TB Display? No, of course not.

But as far as I know, it's the exact same panel, and looks just as good as my TB Display side-by-side. As far as image quality is concerned, these Korean displays are a steal.

What kind of reasoning is that?

These aren't perfect pixel models so they won't check if they're defective anyways, the number purchased has nothing to do with the defect rate.

Suppose they have 1000 monitors, one of which is defective. You are the only person who orders a monitor. The chances of you getting the defective monitor is 1 in 1000.

Now, suppose 1000 people order all 1000 monitors. The chances of you getting the defective monitor is.... 1 in 1000.

The number of monitors bought doesn't change the total number of monitors available or the total number of defective monitors.

...they dont sell defective monitors...

i also know the seller bigclothcrafts, checks to make sure they work...because if they dont HE has to waste HIS OWN money to ship it back and forth to make the customer happy.

My goal is to set up three monitors side by side vertically. Will I be able to do this with my 6670? I guess I will need two graphics cards for sure. Also anyone know if this is possible on my hackintosh? I currently have a single 6670..I guess I can buy another one
you're probably going to need at least 2x 670 or 2x 7970 for that kind of setup
