Do you need a voltage converter for this? Do they have korean plugs?

I totallty want to get this, but I cant find any way to justify it to my wife; especially when I just bought a 65" 3D TV to use as a monitor and used the bigger is better excuse to get it...LOL

this does not have a dead pixel guarantee does it?
Scroll down the description until you see the green FAQ and also the caption just under that. Seems that black pixels are acceptable because the tests are on a black background and also stuck pixels are ok if they aren't in the middle? I dunno, I guess the answer is no? Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

These monitors seem to be great deals. I have the Shimian version that I bought for $325. Not tax, free shipping and no import fees here in the US. Do your homework before buying here to ensure you are getting what you want: []

There is generally a thread for each type type of monitor (CatLeap, Shimian, etc). They mostly all have the same panel but have different housing options (glass, hdmi, etc). Some sellers offer a "pixel perfect" option for $50 more or so where they supposedly guarantee no dead pixels. From my research very few buyers have had issues with dead pixels regardless of which choice they made. Mine has 1 red hot pixel that I never notice unless I am really focussing on it. The option I bought has only a dual DVI input and that is it. No vga, hdmi, etc. Most come with a power adapter brick with a Korean style power plug. However, all you need to do is use a standard monitor/power supply plug into the brick and it will work.

This really was a great deal, and I have very happy with the monitor.

how funny though. i just got mine from the same seller this morning. Ordered Tuesday.. got it Friday (today) amazing how fast shipping is (did i mention FREE?). Love this seller. Thinking about buying 2 more because these things are gorgeous. I dont know if I got lucky or not but I have 0 dead pixels. Searched end to end for a good 5 minutes.

I bought one of these korean 27" IPS. I got the PC Bank 3View for $320 with 3 days shipping and I'm loving it. Looks like they are getting cheaper...

Catleap, PCBank, Crossover, Shimian... and some... are all the same LG IPS, except they vary on outside appearance.

$289 for a 27" IPS 1440p is a good deal.

Will this work with a Radeon 5870 Eyefinity 6 Edition? Mine only has mini displayports so I have to use minidp to dvi adapter.

For those of you scared of getting a dead pixel you can remove it yourself Also, this seller has very good feedback (probably the best compared to all the other Korean sellers)
