Mods, not sure why this keeps getting deleted, it is an Ebay Daily Deal under Electronics...

Might have to click "See More"

Daily Deals aren't prohibited last time I checked the posting guidelines.

Ebay Listings
The only acceptable ebay deals are eBay Daily Deal items (deals.ebay.com) or reputable online merchants such as buy.com, tigerdirect, bestbuy who also have ebay stores. If you have a general item like staples coupons, a link to a search is fine. Most private seller auctions are not allowed. If you're unsure if it can be posted, ask any mod.

Yeah, unless they're being paid off by Dell, I don't see why they keep deleting this topic.

My post about the same deal got deleted by the mods and I was informed that it was posted earlier too but deleted. Hope this time it stays.

Now back to my question: Is this truly a good monitor? Yes, I have searched online but I cannot really find a reliable review. Any real users out there who have experience with this monitor? Thanks in advance.

Crud, the last topic got deleted before I could see if anyone answered my question.

Do any of you guys know if this will work with a Radeon 5770 card? It's on some list at the bottom of the ebay page saying "No" to "Capability of Printout". Does anyone know what that means?

Thanks!

I have it, paid $358 about 2 months ago. It's a great monitor, highly recommended. Photos look great on it. With the big size, enough room to have a TV in one corner while browsing.

I am pretty sure it just means that the BIOS will not display on the monitor when the computer is booting up, as it does that with my 5850 which also showed as No under capability.

Thanks!! Now to determine whether or not I really need to be spending 290 bucks on a new monitor. Even though I'm still using an old Samsung 19" TN.

I have 2 of the Shimian versions of this...same panel...1 stuck pixel (bottom right corner) between the two monitors. Great monitor for the price!

I bought one a couple of weeks ago. The whole upgrade of this monitor costed quite a bit more than the monitor. First I needed to upgrade the graphic card, for $100. Then I found out my factory HP power supply is only rated at 300W, not enough for the graphic card. So that was another $60. But overall I am happy except the monitor stand. It wobbles and no height adjustments.

I actually brought a ShiMian 27" IPS awhile back from ebay. Be warned that you won't really receive much help if something actually does go wrong. I had a horrible experience.

My monitor worked for 3 days and then picture just disappeared in the middle of playing Diablo 3. I do IT work so I know how to fix things and troubleshoot. But I did not want to open it up since it might void any warranty it has.

First thing I did was connect another monitor to make sure it wasn't the cables or video card. And surely, it wasn't the power brick since it works with my other monitor, nor was it the video card since that works too. So I know it had to be the monitor. The seller seemed bent on blaming everything else like the brick or my video card. Even after I explained why. He would also only send 1 message every 1-2 days. After a week, I got so fed up with waiting for messages or him blaming other stuff. I escalated the ticket. I just wanted either a replacement or a refund. Seller won't budge. Surprisingly, ebay didn't back me up either, they ruled on seller's behalf. I ended up taking apart the monitor to fix it myself. Voiding any warranty, not that anyone would honor it anyway. It turned out the cable from the mainboard connecting to the screen itself somehow got disconnected. I managed to fix my own monitor and I'm lucky it wasn't dead capacitors or a dead mainboard, but if shit happens, it's all up to you.
