Chase freedom quarter - should I just buy a bunch of gift cards?
The 5% cash back this quarter for Chase Freedom is for grocery stores. I've only spent a few hundred dollars at the grocery store this quarter and the promotion goes up to $1,500 spent. Should I just buy grocery store gift cards to get up to my $1,500 limit? Will Chase notice this and do anything?
I am bound to spend the grocery store gift cards as food is a necessity, so I don't see any reason not to buy the cards during this quarter at the store so I could get 5% cash back. Any thoughts?

Even with buying gas GCs from the gas station I don't think we'll be able to max it out as I don't want like $2k in gas GCs in the safe!
