SSX/Soul Calibur V - 9.99/14.99 after BBY Gamersmag coupon - Bestbuy B&M

Picked up Soul Calibur 5 today for 10$. The guy didn't charge me for the magazine and just scanned the coupon. Maybe it was the Street Fighter 4 shirt. Made my day

Traded in Rapala Bass Fishing for $10 GC, picked up SSX, checked out and paid $0.78 for it!! Perfect!

Picked up SSX last night in Fairfax, VA for $10. Also subscribed to the magazine for another $15 to get these coupons. After Arkham City for $10, I figured there would be more good deals.

Does anyone else feel theres a conspriacy to get you to sign up for this magazine with the intention of making the rest of the issues really crappy with coupons for free ballons in store. Therefore getting a extra $10 out of you and bragging about there high subscription numbers to higher ups and advertisers.

Thanks for this. I ended up calling 888-BEST-BUY and they gave me the direct # for the @Gamer customer service support. Their # is 800-678-3643. I found out from the rep that even though I signed up for the membership on May 4th, I won't be getting my first issue until around July 13th. The next issue will also be a combined issue (July & August).

I wish BB would actually send me the damned magazine. After signing up with Arkham City they've had the wrong address since then...despite confirming it at the register. Now that it is corrected, who knows when I will actually get my copy so I get in on these deals.

Call the direct # I listed in my post above. The rep can look up your info and let you know when you can expect your first issue. I've had no issues with wrong addresses and it will still take them more than two months to send out my first magazine. Pretty ridiculous.

And I asked them if they could send me the current issue in digital form....NOPE.

It says July 1 is the mailed issued...so we'll see...

Awesome deal. They were sold out of Soul Calibur for PS3 so had to get the 360 version. Also I signed up for the magazine.

I don't know about any conspiracy, but I'll tell you the reason I'm hesitant to pay $10 more for a full subscription is precisely because the only reason I get the magazine is for the coupons and there is no guarantee that they'll offer other good $5-$10 titles I want like this in the future. If I knew they'd have deals like this even once every 3 months, I'd sign up, but I don't. I think the last time they had deals I was interested in was when Batman AC and Rage were on sale.

I'm sure there's nothing wrong with the magazine, but I already get Gamestop's one which I don't have time to read, so why buy another?

I'm pretty sure I read that both versions were virtually identical, so there should be no reason not to get the 360 one. I almost always get the 360 one unless I read that the PS3 version is significantly better.
