Best features of Premiere ...
1. Email/text message when you get a voicemail. 2. Call forwarding. 3. 2nd line 4. Number port I've had Ooma for close to 3 years. While I did run into an issue one time with the hardware it has been a great experience overall. I paid $200 for the Hub/Scout plus 3 years of Premiere. That's $500 or around $175/year. For similar calling features and 2 lines I was paying $60/month through Comcast. Ooma has paid for itself 10x's over already. For those curious about call quality ... I work from home and spend about 6 hours/day on conference calls. I can count on one hand how many times I've had an issue. Usually the issues are related to Comcast getting knocked off-line (which would have screwed up my VOIP with them as well). This is a steal of a deal for those that were going to get Premiere any way. |

Was gonna jumped on this but I got the Sears $130 deal.
So for me, Sears deal will be $130 (2 free months Premiere) + $40 port = $170. I don't need the Premier service. With this deal, it will be $105 + $100 (free port) = $205. I'll stick with the Sears deal... don't want to have to call in and deal with customer service when canceling Premiere. I know, there are taxes but I just include the base price. |

Now why would I want to be forced into paying the $9.99 a month for 10 months? |

15% cashback at discover.
Taxes & fees are $3.76 per month for me. Should I buy this or wait for a $130 deal at sears ? AT &T is such a huge ripoff. It would pay for itself in 9 months. $213 for 9 months and then $3.76 a month from then on. How long does it take to port the # ? Premiere isnt worth $2 a month to me but I AM ready to get away from AT&T. Does the groupon have a money back guarantee ? Last edited by rjm08; 06-25-2012 at 01:15 AM.. |

With the 15% cashback it comes out to $218.08 for the first 9 months....$23.675 per month and then $3.76 per month afterwards.
Wish there was a way to get out of paying the stupid $3.76 per month. Assuming the thing lasts 3 year with no issues and taxes & fees do not increase, the per month cost is lowered to $8.74 per month. Versus $33.25 for basic not including caller ID that I now pay. Increased $5.45 for no reason this month. |
