So I pressed "Buy It Now" and got the "Don't cheat the Woot Off" message. Then I pressed the gold button from the "Don't Cheat" page after the batteries had been on "Sold Out" for a few minutes. That got me to the wait list page.

Is anyone else's Wootalyzer working? Mine is still stuck on those DiddyBeats earbud things.

Regardless of what people may think (big business = the devil)...Amazon has always done right by me and my entire family, and Woot has not. Call me old fashion, but I prefer to give my money to the guys who do right by me.

And Amazon has stood up to the government on sales tax online, SOPA, etc...

I've at least broken even on every BOC I've gotten by selling the junk I didn't esp. want.

No you haven't. You're talking like 10-20 dollars here, in total. If you paid yourself 10 bucks an hour, I promise you you'd be in the hole, probably 200-300%, minimum.

Take the time you spend looking for a BOC and selling off the stupid shit in it, and take an online coding tutorial, or get certified in something and better yourself if money is that tight where you are actually buying and selling BOC's. Geeze man.

You're a moron, plain and simple. It helps justify buying a BOC when you know you can at least get your money out of it, but the point of selling the stuff you don't want is to ensure it goes to a better home than the junkyard or some CL guy's closet.


BOC's are about the surprise more than what's actually in there. And no, I don't sit around "trying to get one". I just watch woot while doing other stuff. Sometimes I get one, sometimes I don't, sometimes I don't even see it. And I've easily made $10-30 just selling the stuff from the crappy BOC's. In the old days, I remember I got some junky robot that I sold for like $60-100 or something.

But yes, I agree spending 2 minutes to post an auction and to ship something out in the normal course of your day is a whole lot of work.

Sorry, that's as far as I got. In real life I don't converse with people who personally attack and insult me and others (mainly childish name calling), and I sure as shit don't do it online or anywhere else my friend.
