I saw the flash listed in there, Vivitar - 285HV, so I decided to look it up and see the reviews since I don't want to afford a Canon flash. I had to laugh at this. 86 said fast recycle and 29 said slow.

so.. it's a t3i + kit lens
and 75-300mm for ~$100 on CL 50mm 1.8 for ~$100 but you'll want to keep this. and junk. |

The 285hv flash is pretty solid . Its old school but very well regarded and loved . Good recycle time good power and range and a workhorse . I think this is a pretty awesome deal . Rebel 75-300 kit is 849 everywhere plus you get the 50 1.8 and the 285 flash that sell for 100 and 80 respectfully for free . I can't speak for the other "junk" but who cares . In for one . and repped!!

I was making fun of a friend of mine for paying $500 for her Canon DSLR 6 months ago. She just didn't know which model it was so I thought it was a T1i or a T2i. I finally got to check it out last weekend. It's a T3i. I think she did just fine, especially since this was 6 months ago.

Just remember that the 285 is not a TTL flash, so you can't just put the camera in program or full auto and shoot. You'll need to use aperture priority or manual mode to get the settings right. But I used the 285 for years in college -- it's a very good flash.
You can't have everything. Where would you put it?

The way Canon is churning out new cameras this year, it's no wonder the prices of older models are dropping so fast. The new T4i is worth considering, at $849 on Amazon, if anyone is not too thrilled with the bundled choice. Hands-on reviews are already available on youtube to aid decision-making.

basically free junks.
Considering t3i kit is only 599+tax at frys few days ago. say $650 after tax two extra lenses worth $200 so yeah.. rest are free junks. you only get deal for the flash 285hv I dont need it =/ |

The Canon EF 75-300mm F4-5.6 III Lens is a piece of junk and so is the flash and tripod.
