Petco $1 per gallon fish tanks for 10, 20, 20l, 39, 40b, 55 **rectangular only**

Just noticed this yesterday at my Petco in Michigan and selfishly hadn't posted yet because I wasn't sure if I was getting one and I heard they sold out of some last time around.

Great deal! Buy these vs. used on Craigslist, no cleanup/scratches/junk to deal with.

I did notice their 40 breeders don't have the support strap in the middle like the ones I got used, so I must have a different brand, but I'm sure the Petco ones are still fine. Probably makes it easier to get lids.

my 40 breeders dont have it either, u dont need it for 40 breeders ^^ its only when tanks get to 48" that they start to bend

This is a great deal for anyone looking to get a tank. I bought the 55 gallon to replace a 26 year old tank yesterday. At these prices, I figured I might as well. The 55 gallons are probably gonna be in short supply even though this sale lasts until July 22. I got the ONLY 55 at the petco I go to. It was the same 55 I'd seen on the shelf for months prior (that I could not pull the trigger on at the regular price). The fish guy said they didn't get any 55 gallons in for the sale but did get a bunch of 40 gallons.

Any deal on a bow front aquarium?

Yes, only rectangle and tank only, no lids or lights or complete kits.

If you're looking for filters and accessories, the Petsmart sale going on now is better - an example is the Aquaclear 70 filter for $44 at Petsmart and closer to $54 at Petco.

Wish they had a $2/gal acrylic sale. Figure on moving to a condo soon & would like to set up a 40gal, but would worry about potential breakage plus leaks with a glass tank flooding ppl that may live below.

probability of that is less than 1% unless of course you have kids playing wii @ home

Would the sale include smaller fish tanks/bowls?

My girls want a fish so I'm looking at getting something like a 1gallon tank...

One side note from my experience
Petco will figure the tax from the regular price. The 40b came out to 45 bucks because the tax was figured off the the original msrp price tag. I thought that was kinda odd

Weird that they do that for your state, in Texas, my tax was figured off the $48 tank price for my purchase (55gallon - $7pals coupon).
