This. I wonder how manufacturer refurbished affects the waterproofing abilities of the camera. I already own this camera, and it's great, but I'm just curious about this aspect.

same here, I bought one from them a few months ago and it was practically brand new. Just bought another one. I took it to Hawaii and the underwater videos are awesome!

I purchased 2 of these the last time they (1saleaday) had this sale.

I only received one of them. Took about 2 weeks to sort out the other, ultimately resulting in me getting a refund, and not another unit.

The one I did get was in pretty good shape though, if you peel off the "refurbished" stick, it looks brand new. Image/video quality is nothing to write home about - roughly on par with most other ~$100 camcorders and higher-end cell phones.

I prefer the ZX3 over the ZX5. The ZX3 has a removable battery and the ZX5 does not. This is very useful because you can pick up a couple of spare batteries for cheap, and be able to record several hours of video without having to recharge a single battery. This was very useful last year when I made a trip to Alaska.

Yes, ebay has them just type in "zx3 battery". Its about $6.
