Bought two of these about a year ago and haven’t had any problems with them. They are perfect for gaming, or when Flash content spins up those fans. Cooler Master tends to be quick with their MIR – I haven’t had any trouble.

In what form will the rebate come back? I know that the Newegg site says that it'll be a check, but I see no mention of such on the actual rebate form. I'd really prefer it if I were able to deposit it back into my bank account.
It usually takes a lot of time for a person to write a helpful post, but it only takes a few seconds to rep them.

I thinks it's too small for a 17 inch laptop. Keep an eye on Cooler Master on Newegg. They often have discounts.

well at least the cable can't be worst than targus models. Any pull on the usb cable and whole thing stops working, so go for this if you need one.
