I had the back to school promo on classic before I switched, but when I switched the promo was no longer available. I tried getting it with loyalty twice, but no go. |

Lets say I currently have 5 lines on a classic family plan, each line with 2gb data. All 5 lines are Galaxy S3, FREE after rebate So, it's $99+$5x3+$20x5 = $215 in 2013 and $230 in 2014 (back to school expires) If my contract is only 2 months old, can I jump on this "Bridge To Value" plan saving $15x5 a month? I understand it would extend my contract by another 18 months, but saving $75 a month for the next 15-16 moths is a good deal. Also, with this new plan 2gb is only $5, but then will it go to $10 after 15-16 months? Or does this $15 discount apply only on a new line that would be added under this plan (which I wouldn't even qualify because I already have 5)? This web page gives an explanation... http://www.tmonews.com/2012/11/t-...ate-plans/ Calling Loyalty/Retentions will also give you more complete details. "In the end, everything is fine; if it is not fine, it is not the end." -- Unknown OP of one of the lowest rated threads on SlickDeals. |

This plan is a mystery. I was getting conflicting responses from loyalty before on other issues and I bet you if you call them about this 3 times you'll get 3 conflicting responses. Their internet site is a joke, they can't even add up minutes used on a family plan... In fact, what you see online is not always what they see in their systems. The real truth will come out only when you get the bill. Last edited by TmobileIsTheBest; 01-21-2013 at 08:58 AM.. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

I do not want to turn this into a T-Mobile complaints thread, so I'll just say the retentions rep really had no clue what she was doing when she migrated me over to the Value Plan. She said I had 14 days to reconsider my migration, which turned out to be a lie, and I was also informed that since it migration was already scheduled to coincide with my billing date, it could not be changed. |

If you are NOT existing customer:, goto t-mobile store and ask for "Value Plan". 2 lines for $80 (max 5 lines): (2 unlimited talk/text) + $5 per additional line for unlimited text+500 minutes each << add $10 for 2GB, $20 for un-throttle data, $25 for 5GB, $25 for unlimited voice on 3rd, 4th or 5th line example: $115 for 5 lines (2 unlimited talk+text+2gb unlimited data, 3 unlimited text+500 minutes) $120 for 5 lines (3 unlimited talk+text, 2 unlimited text+500 minutes) $160 for 5 lines (3 unlimited talk+text+2GB unlimited data, 1 unlimited text+2GB unlimited data+500 minutes, 1 unlimited text+500 minutes) Your 15% UPS discount will be a wash after tax&fees. Thank you so much for replying back and trying to help me out here. I am not a T-mobile customer yet and I want to become one. Hey quick question... do u think if i become a value plan customer and call retention department, they would change my plan to a classic plan with the back to school discount. The reason is i can not afford to pay every month for the phone and plus the 5 phones would cost a lot of money. So i would buy it on the subsidy price and save money. |

Phone prices has dropped like a rock recently. Choices: 1. Signup as classic plan for 4 lines, get 4 discounted HIGH END smartphones, S3 or Note 2. Then after a few days, pay migration fees, $200 per line. It'll come out around $400+tax per device. 2. Nexus 4 just came out last month, lack micro SD card, as good/betten than Samsung S3, brand new for $300. You just need to wait for a few more weeks to have it back in stock due to popular demand. 3. If you insist S3, then look at cowboom, used S3 t-mobile for $400. You'll need to get 2 years warranty, just in case it doesn't work. 4. Try costco. They have good pricing on value plan smartphone IF YOU ACTIVATE the new lines with costco. Do NOT get dumb phones from costco. 5. Samsung S2 from walmart. ?? not sure of pricing. Check SD. |
