In the value plan options it says:
Unlimited Messaging Family Send and receive any type of message you want, in any combination you want. Text, IM, picture, or video messages--its up to you! And the best part is one bundle covers up to 5 subs The button for this option says $10 under each phone. When I click on this option for all five lines it charges $10/line = $50 and it doesn't give me a bundle option. Am I only supposed to check this $10 button for the first phone and then all the lines get unlimited text as the instructions indicate? But when I do this it only gives unlimited text for one line. Is it not giving me a bundle price due to a glitch? Last edited by namlook; 02-18-2013 at 02:42 AM.. |

Sorry if this has been answered but am looking for some clarification on the specs below:
UNLIMITED MINUTES WITH DATA VALUE PLAN: add $25 for 3rd, 4th, 5th each for unlimited talk. Add $10 for 3rd, 4th, 5th each for 2GB high speed. Add $25 for 3rd, 4th, 5th for 5GB high speed, $10 per line mobile to/from mobile (skype, google voice is not consider as mobile). Add $20 for unlimited nationwide un-throttle 5 lines for $80: (2 unlimited talk/text) + (3 lines unlimited text, 500 minutes each) << add $10 for 2GB, $20 for un-throttle data, $25 for 5GB, $25 for unlimited voice 5 lines for $100: (2 unlimited talk/text/data with 2GB at 4G) + (3 lines unlimited text, 500 minutes each) 5 lines for $110: (2 unlimited talk/text/data with 2GB at 4G) + (1 line unlimited text, 2GB at 4G, 500 minutes each) + (2 lines unlimited text, 500 minutes each) 5 lines for $110: (2 unlimited talk/text) + (3 lines unlimited text, 2GB at 4G, 500 minutes each) 5 lines for $120: (2 unlimited talk/text/data with 2GB at 4G) + (2 line unlimited text, 2GB at 4G, 500 minutes each) + (1 lines unlimited text, 500 minutes each) 5 lines for $120: (2 unlimited talk/text/data with unlimited nationwide, un-throttle data) + (3 lines unlimited text, 500 minutes each) 5 lines for $130: (2 unlimited talk/text/data with 2GB at 4G) + (3 line unlimited text, 2GB at 4G, 500 minutes each) 5 lines for $130: (2 unlimited talk/text/data with 5GB at 4G) + (3 lines unlimited text, 500 minutes each) Questions: 1) What does 2GB at 4G mean? Is that all the time at 4G until you go over 2GB & then get throttled? 2) Looking at red above specifically - if I wanted to add 3rd & 4th lines to original 2 lines, how much would it cost for adding lines & also for adding 2GB data? & is that data @ HSPA+ speeds all the time until 2GB is breached? |

2. Basically, for each line you add $10/mo for 2 GB of data so in your case 2 lines would be an additional $20/mo. The add-a-line costs should be free until January 2nd, 2014. However, if your planning to have the Add-a-lines with unlimited minutes, then the discount does not apply. After January 2nd, 2014 (unless otherwise stated) should be $5/mo per a line (assuming you did not opt for unlimited minutes for the extra lines you added to the plan). Unless, you already signed up for value plan before or after this promotion, then it would be the regular $5/mo for each line. |

Thanks for this thread guys. Switched over to the Value plan today. Retention was great. Offered me the loyalty discount without asking. Very nice lady. Love when you get to speak to Americans.
I went with the: 5 lines sharing 1000 minutes, unlimited text, 1 line with unlimited data and 1 line with 2GB) With my normal 12% discount and loyalty discount I will pay $77 a month. Now I got to go get me a Nexus 4 from Google. |

Just spoke to "Lily" in retentions.
3 lines, 1000 min, unlimited text, 2G data each line. Total for $79.99 - $10 loyalty /month + taxes for 24 months. My previous classic plan (700 minutes) bill was about $112 month + taxes (2 T-zones). Lily also made my billing rate retroactive to the previous month's bill to save some me some additional money. I will wait until I can check my bill then add my 15% company discount (Tmobile Advantage). Thanks, Lily! Last edited by vsspam; 02-21-2013 at 01:27 PM.. Reason: correction |

Just to be clear, for each line, you will only be paying a migration fee + tax (on the fee) and no ETF to switch from a classic plan to a value plan? The migration fees are pretty much the ETF?
If this is the case, I think I will take advantage of the free Nexus 4 deal going on and add a new line and a few days later pay the $200 migration fee + tax. But I guess I'd have pay tax on T-mobile's retail price of the Nexus 4 when ordering it for free? |

Tax in CA is charge on retail pricing, before discount. Not sure about other states. Will rep for useful information. I feel generous today
