How do you tell a communist? Well, it's someone who reads Marx and Lenin. And how do you tell an anti-Communist? It's someone who understands Marx and Lenin. Ronald Reagan Mr. Obama if you want to Restore America I will stand with you till my dying breath however if you want to Fundamentally Transform America I will fight you till my dying breath |

"Our national pooled analysis reveals, on the whole, a slightly negative picture of average charter
school performance nationwide." http://credo.stanford.edu/mwg-int...xr6vMMSS6j all the while diverting money from public schools and costing more per student. of course there is comparative data, like un's education index which consistently ranks countries with the lowest private school participation well ahead of those with higher private school participation. |

Your evidence is from a Stanford biased website…that by the way your link does not work Sorry I am going to take your site with a pound of salt, because your site that has an agenda |

I got comparisons coming out my ears and she never can hit the pause

Science is much more than a body of knowledge. It is a way of thinking. This is central to its success. Science invites us to let the facts in, even when they don’t conform to our preconceptions.

you would think, that since stanford is a private school, any agenda they'd have would be to show that private schooling produces a better outcome. regardless, the study was done by stanford, hence why it's hosted on stanford's site. if the site isn't working for all google "2009 stanford study charter schools". it's the first result, and the best/most comprehensive study on the effectiveness of charter schools. |

Sorry I should have elaborated… the link did not work so I did the work on my own to go to the website itself http://credo.stanford.edu only minus the /mwg-int...xr6vMMSS6j After spending a little time at the site it was obvious “ they list on their site that they are there to advance public education” do you think they have some kind of an agenda? |

Look, I get it lots of people think creationists are crazy. I don't get them either. But the idea that they can't teach what they believe in schools because of government intervention is one of the worst kinds of intervention you can have. Yes useing 'Nessie' as a real example is stupid. But we don't even know what kind of students we're talking about here. If these are first graders, who cares? They'll learn the truth later. Very little different between that, and public schools talking about Santa. |

mind pointing it out to me? all i see is " The Center for Research on Education Outcomes (CREDO) is committed to improving the body of empirical evidence about education reform and student performance at the primary and secondary levels. Established at the University of Rochester in 1999 and relocated to Stanford University one year later, CREDO has become a leading independent voice in the discussion of how to improve education in America, with an emphasis on rigorous program and policy analysis as the means of informing and improving education decision making. Our primary aim at CREDO is to support educators and policymakers in using the insights that come from sound research to shape program and policy development. We focus on asking the right questions and delivering statistically sound answers as the basis for assessing the effectiveness of education initiatives. We also work to align expectations among key groups around how a quality school performs and how different stakeholders can work together to ensure accountability and academic excellence. " Regardless your source is non existent so im not sure wtf your point is. |

The exact quote on the site is: “Rigorous Research to improve Public Education” http://credo.stanford.edu/ |

![]() Fortunately CREDO knows the correct definition of improved, and its not "be biased and do nothing to change public education simply compare it more favorably to charter schools". That would be a race to the bottom You used "advance" to mean to "advance" in rank, which isnt what theyre doing regardless, still no source from you so why are we even discussing bias.
