It's an ok deal...but this seems to around the "normal" sale price. The "retail" price is silly and isn't a factor here.

I don't disagree with you, but that is why I mentioned that it's about 1/3 of other retailers, which I think is relevant.

Normal retail prices are almost never relevant here.

You're saying that prices from other retailers isn't relevant? That is silly.

You are not comparing apples to apples in your comparison. I could easily pull up a $10K color laser printer and my $200 model would look like an even better deal than your example, but that's not the point.

You're not making much sense. No one here would pay anywhere near retail for the printer you listed. The "normal" sale price (offered at multiple stores, multiple times in the past) is around $200.

Sorry...facts are facts. This is a luke-warm deal (at best) for this printer at this price.

I am also not disagreeing with you that it has been offered at this price before (your fact). However, given the fact that you read about it in the past on this website, how is it not worth mentioning again now that the sale price is active again?

It is being sold at half of MSRP. That is a fact. (Regardless of how inflated and unreasonable that number may be.) I understand, and agree that MSRP doesn't really matter here on slickdeals, but that is a fact.

More importantly: if you wanted to buy it today, you could save about a third off of what other companies are selling it for. That is a fact.

Even if it's been sold at this sale price before, it's still cheaper than when it's not on sale. Also a fact.

This product, at $200, is not a hot deal. Case closed.
