I did this a year ago and never received anything. I did get my original $250 for signing up for the bundle package at the beginning. Good luck if you try this, it really doesn't hurt but don't expect to actually get anything.

my mom has att on autopay now. she says dealing with att is a nightnmare. she is unsure if she can get off it, she says she will probably just cancel her credit card as that would be easier then dealing with att. i bought her a new is phone too, so she needs to cancel her service soon. she has $150 left on her att phone too, it is a shame there is no way to get any of that back...

Don't bother, AT&T is a scam company. If you don't call infinite time and ask your reward card, they won't mail it to you. It took them six months to correct my billing statements after I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

yes, tech support , specially for internet is not good.. i have uverse internet and their tech support is closed on weekends, very inconvenient.. however, the wireless tech support is excellent.. been an att wireless customer for last 6-7 years, and uverse for last 2 years.. You'll have a leg up on the CS rep during negotiation if you can articulate exactly which service and offers you want. Normally their offers are good for 1-year terms, and you'll have to cancel in a year and go through the whole process again to avoid paying their insane regular prices. ![]() Other AT&T negotiation tips: *Tell them you want some credit for the AT&T DSL modem/Wireless Router if they make you buy one. Your other option is to buy one on eBay or Craigslist. *HIDDEN FEES: Make sure you argue like he|| about paying the fiber box installation fee for U-verse... it's THEIR own company hardware and will stay at your residence even after you move. Ask for a credit on your first or second monthly statement. *REWARD REDEMPTION: As other users have already suggested, make sure take SCREENSHOTS of all your rewards redemption info (press 'print screen' or 'Prt Sc' button on your computer keyboard while the window is open, then open a Word document and press 'Paste', then save the document with that image in it) because AT&T is notorious for not honoring their reward offers. You'll have to threaten to cancel your service, then talk to Retention department and send them your screenshot to prove you're entitled to the Reward. |

of course the OP is pushing his/her "deal" ATT is crap and enrolling in autopay will make you regret the decision...Google/Bing it/Yahoo it (wtf can you say that?) before doing it I'm an ATT customer (been on for 5 years) ONLY because Sprint is garbage and Verazion has no signal in my area. I also get a hefty company discount with them |
