ATT never honors any deal unless you repeatedly call in.
None of these offers will be automatic.
AT&T is very dis-organized.
CS department does not know what the marketing/rewards department are offering. They will transfer you around and around until you give up or get disconnected.
You get to call back and start the whole process over and wait forever on hold.
If you complain or threaten to cancel, then maybe, maybe they will give you a statement credit. YMMV. You have been warned.

Yeah.... good luck actually receiving that.

This "reward"... much like the one for paperless billing... is quite famous for never materializing.

This is what I assume as well. Can anyone on these forums confirm they've received this before?

One time I didn't get a reward from them so I called about it and they sent it twice plus credited my bill for the amount. Just keep bugging them and you will get it.

The plus side of AT&T not honoring their promos. Spent several hours on the phone with them and was rewarded with free service for at least a couple of months.

AT&T is never good with rebates. I got burned by them several times.

I lost $75 for a dsl modem, lost another promised $100 rebate for signing up new service, and lost $15 for switching to paperless. They never honor a single sh!t! Their rebate department is a big joke! When you call them, they would just say they have no record of you eligible to receive this rebate.

AT&T is horrible with billing and rebate. I hope crap load of class action lawsuits would be brought upon them.
