 - The other 2 drives are both Sandforce based but I forgot the OCZ opted for a different controller on the Vertex 4s.

Wonder if these prices are just a temporary inventory reductions by the manufactures at a near break-even or loss. Its possible prices will go back up a little in the short term until the next generation of drives is released. The downward slope is way too steep to continue falling at this rate.
Oh and I hate newegg's return policy. Basically if in 3 weeks the 512gb drive is $300 you can't do anything about it. Last edited by nsfw; 06-26-2012 at 05:42 PM.. Reason: more info |

I doubt this will sell out quick (so many ssd deals recently + higher price range). So I feel perfectly comfortable waiting to see if Amazon will PM and not staying up late.

I know some people have had problems with Newegg and returning their SSDs, but has anyone tried ordering with ShopRunner and returning to Newegg with no hassle/restocking fee?
I don't want to be stuck with a $190 brick. |

i may get another one of these. i already got one running in my 2011 MBP and it's great. thinking one for my desktop. we'll see. 4th of july is next week. could see this price again or lower soon...
