Sprint Credit (up to $80)for Contract Renewal Very YMMV

I did not threaten to cancel. When I called, I was transferred to the SERO Dept. I told them that I would like to renew my service contract. The CSR stated that my service contract would be renewed with my upgraded. I explained to him that these were two different things. Basically renewing your contract was actually a separate loyalty credit from the $150 towards an upgrade. He put me on hold and researched the situation. His answer was that he could only offer me $45/line. Since it was free money, I accepted the offer. He tried to process the request in the system. Then he told me that the system offered $80/line instead of $45/line and applied those credits to my account. It was a 15 min call with Sprint.
