Verizon Wireless Early Renewal and Razr Maxx for FREE plus $30 upgrade YMMV
On yesterday,I called Verizon to see if I could upgrade my account early(not due for upgrade til 8/21/12) so that I could keep my Unlimited Data.....I was told that they couldn't do it unless my upgrade date was less than a month away(which I knew wasn't true because of the people that I've seen here on this site),so I hung up and waited all of 5 minutes called back,had a rep by the name of Jason to pick...I told him that I needed to discuss the new plan and also the fees for terminating a contract....Long story short, after about 2 minutes into the conversation...he tells me that a screen just popped up to offer me a FREE 4g phone with a contract renewal(really
)...said he had never seen this offered before(really
) and I could chose from ANY 4g phone....he walked me through the different phones and suggested the new Galaxy S3 and the razr maxx...I chose the maxx for battery life...I only had to pay the activation fee(which hopefully I'll be able to get credited later)and the phone was shipped on yesterday,will be here Thursday...I know I should be excited(which I am),but it just upsets me to kn ow how they are getting over on us...Two different reps within 5 minutes to tell you two TOTALLY different things!!!...Everything was done over the phone with the exception of him having me go into the computer to accept the terms....I also had him send the info to me in a text and the promotional code reads"free 3g to 4g south offer"....so I think it's worth a try guys!!!
