can amex help? as I've bought the piec (POC when basic volume is not audible properly even at max vol), can i dispute?

Can anyone suggest the best way to get support for this phone? Frustrating looking. My text messaging is driving me nuts. About half the time won't send. Sits there forever and then get a message Message not Sent. Try again and usually works. I get a red triangle in the messages it can't send. It doesn't matter where I am at so don't think a network issue. I have cleaned up messages.
