Yes: no contract and carrier independence (international penta band) is why I loved Nokia before they turned. Google is doing it right so far

i've been meaning to upgrade my phone, and i still can't decide if i should buy galaxy nexus, or cheaper alternative(exhibit ii for tmobile prepaid) along with nexus tablet...........

I really love my Galaxy Nexus and can say it is really worth it for me. I forgot my charger over a memorial day weekend vacation and when I came back from vacation it still had 40% battery life left.

Very, very nice. I bought the unlocked international version for my wife when it was a daily steal on ebay just a few weeks ago and I've been jealous of the device ever since - now it's finally back near that price point.

If Google's selling it for $350+tax though... I wonder what the next daily steal will be? I'm kind of inclined to wait at least a little bit.

Quick question: If I'm already on a 3G data contract with AT&T and buy this phone, can I just put my old SIM card into this phone and my voice + 3G data plan would automatically work on this phone? (Don't have to call ATT or anything?)
