I really like this phone, but it comes with only 16GB of space and no way of expanding! In the age of cheap microSD cards it's essential to have one in a phone. I would bite if this were the 32GB version maybe.

Is there a difference between that version and this? Is this unlocked as well, right?

They are moving away from expansion like that for a reason, it slows down the phone if you have things installed to it and just generally makes it less efficient. Really adding SD cards to phones was initially just supposed to be to move files over easily or to stash extra stuff. With cloud storage becoming more available, it's less important.

would this be a throw away of money to only use it with t-mobile prepaid plans, non data, i bought 100 worth of minutes and can buy 50bucks now and it is still good for a year. I rarely use my phone for talking , At home i have landlines that i find more comfortable. I would pay for data if it wasnt at the month to month plan, after years on a carrier plan i went prepaid and save a lot of money. I can get wifi at all trainstations , that is faster than 3/4g, and many nyc parks have free WiFi,plus every coffeeshop,macd's and everybody else. If i could buy it for emergency and have 6 months to a year to use it, i would, but no more plans for me. I save enough to buy mice phones like this, probably in tax savings alone. i think the nevus would be able to use gps and gmaps without going on line,if maps were predownloaded. I have a samsung exhibit II that has been nothing but a POS since day one,but i can talk when i need to.
i was thinhing of rooting it to solve problems, but may be able to return and let them fix and buy this. But dont want overkill using wi-fi only

Looks like Android 4.1 Jelly Bean (coming out next month) will have feature like offline voice input. Any other new features everyone else interested in?
