people actually use MMS on a smartphone? Is email really that hard for some people?
Hard to believe but some people might not have email address or even if they do, they don't check it that often.

People who do not have emals do not buy smartphones and do not pay for data. I have several friends who do not have cell phones at all and obviously no emails, although they use a computer occasionly for surfing web

Hi, is there a wifi calling or UMA with this phone (using T-Mobile network)? I traveled around the world with my Blackberry by using UMA, and I could just tell people "call my cellphone". I made and received calls in over 10 countries and I did not pay a penny more than my monthly payment to T-Mobile..

I understand t-mobile is now doing this with an app.. Blackberry did not need an app, you could even set it to WiFI priority or WiFi Only but still go through T-Mobile. UMA rocks.

No Wifi Calling on the GN, it isn't just an app.

You could just port your number to Google Voice and do the same. The only thing you would lose is MMS support. But considering you've been using a Blackberry, I assume you've probably been using BBM anyway.

is this worth switching from my galaxy note rooted on 4.0.4 (custom rom)???

i love my note but it seems that i will never see a genuine update from samsung at this rate...

or should i just hold off for the quad core LTE version that is presumed to come stateside by the end of the year???

Got mine today, great phone and with $30 T-mobile 100min & Unlimited Web, it's awesome. My 4G speeds are so much faster than the 3G I was getting with my Optimus V on Virgin Mobile. Glad I switched.
