Im paying $25 for 18 mbps and I received $200 (essentially 8 months for free) in visa gift cards when i signed up as a new customer last year. This is in southern california. The catch is that the promotion is tied to an existing wireless account. Hope this helps.
Edit: this is effective for 1 year, with a 1 year agreement.
even a slick deal!
i have at&t uverse and wireless so i guess thats why
norcal here, i just signed up a couple of weeks ago for uverse phone/internet and received the internet for 24.95/12mbps. had att dsl before that and they took off all the charges for installation + modem
used chat service to confirm and checked my promotion history and it applied.
ATT REP ONLINE
I see that you are active on 18.00 Mbps so you can have a speed of 17.00 Mbps
ATT REP ONLINE
In which you can have a downloading allowance of 250 GB.
ATT REP ONLINE
Was I able to answer your question?
250gb/Month? Thanks guys. But that gives me a reason not to use ATT.
Your quote didn't prove him wrong. Just because they state there's a 250gb cap doesn't mean it's enforced. A little googling would show it's not - just meant to be a deterrent. Interested in switching over and multiple posters on other forums are saying they've gone 2-3x over without even a warning letter... In fact haven't found any cases where they have... I'm sure it's just a rule they have in place so they can take action if someone goes and bittorrents 30 TB month after month...
Edit: looks like some reports of warnings/dings in high usage areas - CHI, NYC, etc... although it seems sporadic.

To err is human. To arr is pirate. To deal, is divine.

Signed up for the 18mpbs back in February, they told me that i would be paying 39.99 for one year and it would kick in a couple of months after my first bill...Well it has been a couple of months and then some and my service is still at $52.... Why do i keep clinging on to AT&T..... I guess i can try to reason with them... but last time i tried it, they waved me off goodbye not even without a look back....
maybe a dumb question, but is U-verse like the old DSL service where you need a phone jack?
Yes. Same old phone lines within your house. However, they have to have upgraded your neighborhoog lines for U-verse. I believe they need to bring fiber to the neighborhood, and from there it goes out over the usual copper lines to your house/home. SO, not all areas within ATT turf have been, or appear to be even scheduled for upgrades.
