Springfield is my T .. ( as I live in Springfield) ... this store is absolutely amazing with Qs... we happen to have another T right down the road (the old T before they built Springfield West) ... its a shame when you see people abusing things because I love the fact that when I go to West they never give me an issue with my Qs .. (naturally I am sure I follow all rules and regulations on the Qs) ... the other springfield T, however, is a stickler and if the Q beeps (even if you have the item) its a fight to push it through and, at times, they refuse to.... I SERIOUSLY hope this person did not RUIN my TARGET Q'ing for me...

have the cashier do a price check and see if it says GC offer or put them at the front of your order and just have the cashier remove them if no request to scan gc pops up. i got 2 cleansers yesterday, store didn't have any shelf tags at all. cashier refused to do price check, i wanted to see if the date would come up, she kept saying she could easily remove them if the gc didn't come up. she just scanned one twice and the gc came up.

we have a volunteer to maintain the wiki overall and hddvdtv has been faithfully maintaining the tq section for a long time. will pm you.

now i'm thinking one wiki for the tq's, one wiki for deals/coupon matchups/gc's/etc, one wiki just for clearance/holiday clearance where we could link to pictures/attachments, and of course one wiki for the usual info- policy and procedure and faq's. i definitely think it would make it a lot more organized. maybe 5th spare wiki just in case so when the wiki is reorganized, if we need it, we have it to put stuff in.

i've so far checked 4 stores, inc yesterday. 2 stores don't have in stock are 70% off. 2 stores that have one each are $399. i'm wondering if the inventory was off where people were lucky enough to get them. we all know how wacked store inventory can be. just wed i went to a lowes that said they had one bag of drainage rock which of course could not be found. but another store had 300 bags. luckily i was in that vicinity on friday and they had pallets to the ceiling.

yes it could. if the store's profit margin goes down, they would look to cut costs immediately. the easiest and most immediate would be to cut hours. depending on state laws they can call them and ask them if they don't even want to come in to work or ask them when they come in, if the person insists on working they can have them just work the minimum shift which could be as little as 2 hrs. they can slash the schedule for the following wk. it doesn't affect just one store, it can affect an entire district b/c of course there is a minimum # of employee hrs you need to operate. so other stores in the district could be asked to cut their hours to make up for that one store.

this is how the retail company i used to work for would react. what happens when you slash hrs? i worked at a clothing company so we would only neatly fold all the fronts of the tables b/c that's what could be seen thru the glass and when customers walked in and just straighten the back. i can't imagine that target is that much different. well i take that back. my company was driven to move stock out of the back room and for the merchandise to be always be full on the floor w/o there being too much and every single piece of merchandise had to be represented on the sales floor. and they were also obsessive about signage and markdowns. it was on our reviews. for some reason target is not.

and i'm sure their regional loss prevention is all over them right now and they are getting a brow-beating. oh how we dreaded a call or visit from charlie miller! everybody would be scared!

I'm not saying the person using coupons didn't have a bunch and may have done wrong things with them, but I seriously doubt there was 1000 coupons involved. Can you imagine what a stack that was??? and what happens when the 4 like coupon-give it back to guest screen popped up?? I know you can do 'something' to push more than
4 like ones thru, but you can only do 11 more or so and most cashiers don't/won't do it- and rightfully so. Plus, it would take forever to scan all those products and then scan all those coupons--I'm betting the register would lock up-so I don't think it happened exactly like the cashier said.

And, totally OT, I live in an area where lots of Hutterites shop and I was stunned to see them pushing several flatbed carts of cases of alcohol out of Sam's the other day I used to think they only ate what they produced until I saw cases of candy and soft drinks, but vodka and Clamato freaked me out.

I had two coupons $1off Curel, but i think those were from mailing samples, not sure where i had them from. More expensive creams from CUREL had $2 peelies on.

Burts Bee- a lot of stuff were marked for GC deal. Cheapest Hydration Treatment product was $9.99 cream cleanser. Wipes worked for GC as well http://www.target.com/p/burt-s-be...term=burts bee Funny thing that both $3MQ for Hydration Therapy cleansers coupons attached to sensitive wipes, and only one $3TQ went fine, another beeped, even if i had 2 cleansers.

I would like to know the price on these too.

I bought the Sauve yesterday and did four orders. On 2 orders it said I did not spend the 10.00
so would not take the T coupon. Cashier put it in anyway.....then the next order it works.
Could not figure out why.....so put the T coupon first..before any other coupons and it went though.
Had the same thing happen with the method....first coupon flashed the red screen....then next three coupons worked. Frustrating to the new cashiers.

Anyone see the toy coupon books in the stores yet?

The Beggin Strips are on TPC until 12/22 for 2.50 for the 6 oz bag--I've been buying them like crazy for the shelter. I've been using the BOGO MQ on them

Beggin Strips are 2.50 for 6 oz.

Jerky is 3.99 and 4.49 I think--bought lots before with the TQ and the $1 peelie on the bags.

I got mine in the mail yesterday as well, along with a $5/50 toy purchase TQ (stuck to the back of the catalog) but did not see them in the stores yesterday morning.
