Scan all coupons...in ad manufacturers. Probably end up under a dollar...I haven't computed it fully but I wanted to know if there was more to what I need to be doing.

I did OK last night (spent $8.98--yeah, I know to you guys, that's a lot). Got 10 GG veg, 4 Stouffer's mac and cheese, potatoes (.50 MM), butter (net .99), a pack of napkins free (remember that $1 paper products coupon if your order is over $15?), two OM bacon (special @ $1.99 due to grand re-opening at local store--used $1 cpn off each). I think that was it. Even for me, $9 is a lot, but I really will use everything, so no fillers needed. Thanks, everyone, for all the helpful info.

Finally tried for the Scott coupon, but only got $.50 DND for the TP.

We volunteered to bring the challah to my kids' school today so I had $13.47 in bread purchases and got all the super coupon items basically for free with it. My prices were a little different, so I'll post it in case it helps anyone else:

Breyers $4.49 -$2.50 (coupon) -$1.99 (card) = free
Tropicana OJ $3.99 - $2.11 (coupon) - $1 (card) = $.88
Clementines $8.99 - $5 (coupon) - $4 (card) = -$.01

I also got the POM juice that's on sale for $2.50 for the 16 oz size. We're going to add it to Sprite so it's festive for the holidays.

I sent my husband to the store with specific instructions on how to scan everything. He rolled his eyes but when he got home he said your deal worked, I got everything for the price of the challah.

Also, a tip, since that clementine coupon takes off so much you might want to scan it last so you don't need to have as many filler items.

when your stop and shop loyalty card is scanned an amt is deducted to bring it down to the loyalty card sales price.

what is happening is when you scan your loyalty card after scanning the store coupon, it's double-dipping.

The advantage is that by NOT scanning your card first, you are able to reach the 25.00 threshold with the shelf price of the items, not the sale price (you won't have to buy xtra groceries). Once you hit 25.00+, you can use the store coupons. Then, when you DO scan the card, it will deduct the amount to bring the items down to the sale price. As someone stated, double dipping.
