this is alright like you said in awhile.. I paid $55 for my passport 1 tb right before the thailand flood.
But TU for the heads up, however they have been on the decline : ) |

great deal.. won't be buying one though.. (have too many) but for the situation this is a good deal..
also if anything happens to the drive (i travel very much, gets handled a bit more roughly even though I do my best to keep it safe in my carry on) Western Digital warranty services will replace it without questions. They actually upgraded an older usb 2.0 1tb to a new usb 3.0 1tb because they didn't have the older kinds. And the drive still was able to read, so I salvaged everything. |

14 out of 105 reviews for this WD Passport give it a 1 star review. Like all newer WD Passports, this drive comes with WD Smartware, reason enough to avoid. For this 3.0 drive, camelcamelcamel shows that $99.99 is the lowest price Amazon ever sold the drive, first on sale at Amazon in April 2012.
