Thread Details

So I recently got my bill stating I would get billed for the Sunday Ticket so I called to cancel it, they asked me why and I said that Playstation (who is now a provider for the Sunday Ticket) had offered me a deal for $99 for the year and she came back with the offer of $79 up front which I took. I'm sure if you were real motivated you could maybe get it free but this was a good deal for me as I was going to buy it anyways just wanted to get a deal.

Of course this depends on which agent you talked to but it only took about 5 minutes of my time.

Was that a lie or truth?

Its true but its for 2 months. Then $199 for the remainder of the year and you also need to live in an area where Directv is unavailable. http://us.playstation.com/psn/nfl/

It looks like Sunday Ticket does not come with The Redzone Channel. You must buy the Sunday Ticket Max to get it. What a bunch of effing BS! Mad

I had the ticket last year and I found that the majority of the time I simply watched The Redzone Channel...I wonder if I can just subscribe to that alone???

I got the red zone only, called last week and got it. I tried to get the whole ST for free (again), and got shot down, but all I watched was red zone, so it was good enough. Free, too.

I got ST for free this year, but they wanted another $99 for Max, which I refused. I'll try for Red Zone closer to the season start.

i'm pissed they separated it, i used to just pay a buddy $50 to stream on his account, now he would have to get the max package which he doesn't want..

Hopefully people are able to get a nice discount on MAX. I assume MAX has online access?

FYI, there are two versions of Redzone Channel. A directv one which is $100 and a NFL Network one which is free. Just sign up for Sunday Ticket and use the NFL Network's Redzone Channel.

Ugh.

Please read some reviews before purchasing this in hopes for any online streaming for PC or PlayStation.

While the satellite TV version of the ticket if fine, the online aspects to the package are atrociously bad. Almost not watchable.

DirecTV does a horrible job with their streaming quality and consistency. It will not work for the first few weeks - pretty much a given. Well, only if you are judging by the last 4 years, where it took until about week 4 for anything to work

I don't believe DirecTV carries the NFL Redzone Channel on any of their packages.

Regardless of the PS3 deal, for anyone who has had the ST last year (@$350+) did they bill you the 199 this year, or your old pricing of $350+?
