Recommend me a dehydrator for jerky/fruit
Looking to buy a dehydrator for jerky + fruit. Preferably Nesco or Excalibur brand, cant find any good deals out there.Thanks |

There are plenty of tutorials online to make your own dehydrator using a box fan or your oven for little or no money at all that work just as well or better than an actual dehydrator.
Use wisely your power of choice.

Anyway, if you still want to buy a dehydrator, I think your best bet is to search for Kohls coupons. Deals get better if you have a Kohls card, and time it with their Kohls cash etc. Check the Kohls thread here. Good luck. |

My Mom dehydrate alot of veg. with the power of the a sun, oven, a reflective sheet pan and a net. She lives in dry Southern California. For drying fruits your will need a solar oven or foil plus the right weather with no birds around  . We had a Ronco Dehyd. for free, but never used it.
