Frys Weekly FAQ:
The ad prices listed are generally for in store purchase price only. The price you see on the link will not always be the price you pay in the store. If you are buying online with delivery, the sale price may not be reflected on the site until 1am PST (pacific time zone).
Items are sometimes available online for the same price as B&M and have free to very low shipping. Usually this will be software.

Buy online Pick up in store
You can use their online shopping method and chose IN-Store pick up and have your items picked out by their staff and ready to go at the counter. Your card is not charged by their system until you pick up your items (they give you up to 72 hours to pick up) and you get to pay the B&M (ad) price. The convenience factor on this is great but you are not guaranteed your items because Frys workers make lots of mistakes. If it's a popular items, you want to get there early to make sure you get your product.

Upgrade Competitive software rebates:
Upgrade competitive rebates can be done if you have a competitive or a previous version of the software. To qualify for the UPMIR, most of the time, they ask for a copy of the CD install disk to be sent in. Sometimes a About page of the installed software can work but read the UPMIR carefully to make sure they will accept them.

Trick to qualify for Upgrade / Competitive Rebate without prior ownership:
IF you do not have the required previous version / competitive version of the software to qualify for the UPMIR, you can purchase their competitors software at the same time to qualify. This ONLY makes sense when there are multiples of the same software type on sale. Usually multiples of the Anti-virus/ utilities/ internet security software go on sale. So if you want Norton AV that's FAR but don't have any purchased AV to qualify for the UPMIR, you can purchase AVG, Mcafee, Kaspersky, Trend Micro at the same time and used the newly purchased software as your competitors software to qualify.
Frys usually has multiples of AV/Utility/IS software on sale each week. Sometimes, they will have multiples of video editing software or music software for free.

Rebate issues with Hornettek?
Frys sold Hornettek rebates last year for an Ipad2 case and drive enclosures. I've had a problem with them illegally rejecting my claim and I'm looking for others who may have had had the same issues. If you have had issues with Hornettek rebates, please PM me to join in a class action complain not a law suit to get paid for these rebates.
