just bought this too. came out to $240 with shipping

this is an absolute steal if youre doing basic computer stuff. checking email, surfing the web, its a very lightweight laptop (especially if you replace the hard drive with an SSD which is what im going to do)

15.6" high resolution LCD screen, the case is very nice as it is a high quality lenovo product. ONLY downside to this laptop that I can comment about si that the processsor is very weak. by this, you can't play very graphics accelerated games too smoothly because of thje lack of processing power, but this is a very very affordable budget laptop to do all ofthe basics especially when youre travelling a lot

Seems like a good deal for a web-surfer - I have been trying to score a lenovo deal on the outlet site - but the Core I5's for around $250 just aren't popping up anymore. Decisions, decisions...

How does the cpu in this laptop compare to one with a Intel CPU T2080 1.73GHz cpu?

wow 725 passmark - that is a very weak processor.

I rescued an old dv6000 from the dead and installed an AMD tl 60 processor off of ebay for $10, that has a passmark of 976 and was made in 2006.

That being said this oculd have some uses as a basic maching but I would save up and pay more for an I3 at least.

Pretty much the same. I would prefer the Intel chip, older design but easilly upgraded.

My point being that anyone looking at this deal should know just how WEAK this thing is in comparison with what is available out there. Its pretty bad. The price reflects this.

Pick up at Microcenter for under $200 is better. For $240 I would pass. My OPINION only.
