Looking to buy new kitchen appliances over the holiday--need suggestions
Since the 4th is just around the corner I'm seeing sales on appliances. I see HHGregg is offering up to 25% off major appliances this weekend, plus an additional $50 off any purchase $499 and up. Lowe's and Home Depot are offering similar sales as well. Especially if you buy more than 1 applianceOkay, enough with the jibber-jabber. My kitchen appliances are at least 15 years old and I'm in need of replacing my refrigerator, dishwasher (electric), stove/oven (gas) and microwave. I plan on selling my home within the next 2-years so I don't need top-of-the line or crazy features. What I do need is dependability. I plan to go the stainless steel route. So what I'm looking for is advice on brands and where my best bargain would be. I will rep your toes off for any assistance. Thank you. |

I would just get all matched Sears Kenmore. Usually they will throw in free shipping and you can finance it for at least a year with no interest and maybe no payments. Also I recommend getting a stove with a gas cooktop but electric oven. For frig get the French door style. Side by sides suck ass.

something simple like that? ^^ I tried to recreate that package at Lowes and sears and both were over $2000 + tax. Sometimes can find a great deal on a builders package and one of the benefits of a builders package is that all your appliances will match, which would make your kitchen look nicer for resale. Electrolux/Frigidaire Finance Offer - No Interest if Paid In Full Within 15 Months. On Electrolux + Frigidaire Appliance purchases of $399 or more with your US Appliance card made between Jan 1, 2012 and July 31, 2012 Details 15 months to pay it off without interest is nice too. Of course you could always print that page out from US appliance and take it into lowes/sears/etc as a bargaining chip too

After careful consideration, and since the Frigidaire Gallery series seems like it shares most of the consumer hatred of it's standard product line, I'm going to go with Samsung for my 4 appliances from Sears. They price-matched everyone in the area. Bestbuy had the best prices, and they matched or beat them.
