I'm thinking, if the offer was dead, wouldn't they have taken down the landing page?


I have been approved for offers with Chase where I was told that the offer was dead and could no longer be found on their website, but applying through the landing page link provided by users on SD, I was approved for the offer.

This is a November'11 promotion. It's over half a year old. Secure Message YMMV.

I'm totally screwed if this promotion isn't valid.

You get at least 1 point/$. Amazon gifts cards are on sale for 9000 points for $100, so that's $100/$9000 at least 1.1% cash back, usually more. So it's around 1.3-1.5% cash back.

Also this is basically a travel card, so you can get a one companion flight for free, and you get good deals for flights if you can deal with their times. [I went with a friend from SFO to ORD for $320 roundtrip total - so $160 roundtrip from SF to Chicago] + I can basically get SFO to LAX tickets for $59/way anytime I want].

I always screen shot every step of the application process including promo screens. I've never had a problem getting all I'm entitled to when I have documentation.
