This is an excellent program, and well worth the money. I bought my copy from the UK Amazon site about a year and a half ago. The Blu-Rays plays fine in a PS3, for what it's worth.

Huge fan of BoB, but was somewhat let down by this. Not bad by any stretch of the imagination, but definitely "different" than BoB. There seemed to be better character development and a stronger sense of "bond" in BoB than in The Pacific.

I guess I expected too much of this after Band of Brothers, which to me was perfect. Still good though so I might get it.
There's being frugal, and there's being obnoxiously cheap, please learn the difference. Also if you find yourself getting into heated arguments online about things like lossless audio, re-assess your life.

Good price if you're into it, but I loved BoB and couldn't bring myself to continue watching this after like the 5th or 6th episode. Really disappointing.

It starts off slower than BoB, but you'd do yourself a favor to watch the entire series beginning to end. The action really picks up in the later episodes, and watching this on a big screen is just as impressive as BoB in my opinion. Some of the combat scenes are truly amazing.

I'm in for one, really liked it when it came out on Netflix and wanted to add it to my movie collection at the right price. Will go right beside my Band of Brothers HD-DVD Japanese import.
