Top 5 States You’re Most Likely to Run into a Slickdealer

"New Jersey is the country’s most populous state per capita." I'm pretty sure every state should be pretty much precisely 1 person per capita.

Wow, slickdealers may be good at finding deals but they sure aren't good at math! It was quite obvious from reading the article that state population was accounted for... how else could they have come to the conclusion of 1 in every X state residents (for those that are still baffled, this implies that total uniques per state was divided by total state population). Maybe we need to look for a slickdeal on education for some of the folks here. lol

I started using Slickdeals when I was a college student in NY, but no longer live there. I guess that makes me a mildly strange case.

Replacement Cost homeowners insurance works this way:

1- You report a loss to the insurer.
2- If the insurer approves your claim, they reimburse you Actual Cash Value (fair market value, or original purchase price less depreciation).
3- You buy the item again, and send the receipt to the insurer.
4- The insurer cuts you a check for the difference

You could return the item, but that would be fraud. Insurance adjusters have a nasty habit of showing up at your doorstep 6-12 months later.

a better statistic is to show what percentage of users from each state use slickdeals. then you know how likely you are to run into a slickdealer..

It should be normalized by the population of each state for a fair comparison

Well I think the top 5 are all states I hate the most in this country. Except for Boston, you are aight.

Once I went to a local Staples right after a Hard Drive B&M deal came up (Boston)..

There I met a person searching for the same exact device in the store computer.

I think he was a fellow slickdealer-I'm sure he was.
