what are the requirements to be qualify as a safe driver?

This makes my $74 per month with Geico looks expensive.
But I'm under 25 though.

I have geico and my rate started off awesome when I first switched.

Then every six months the rate went up 10% for absolutely no reason, just subtle enough to make you not bother taking the time to switch away again.

Next time it goes up, I am definitely shopping around, though I hate the darn credit check everyone does.

I did find one website that can do car insurance comparisons without credit checks but when you don't give it all the info, it's not as accurate ( http://leaky.com/ ) Apparently it uses the publicly filed rate tables that all the insurance companies must provide by law.

I've never had a ticket or accident in decades so I guess I am about as safe a driver as possible.

ACR are you in California? Geico wasn't only the cheapest for me, it was cheapest by FAR, with rates literally less than half of allstate, state farm and the other big ones. I opened my policy with them a few months ago in the bay area.

This is how most insurance companies operate. Sweet deal to switch and then jack the price.

Last time I had to renew, I was checking other companies and found better pricing. Then all of a sudden my geico rate went back to being the lowest.

IMO they can see you're shopping around, and then they will roll back. At least geico.

Mine is $106 right now for 2 luxury cars w/ full coverage. It goes down a couple of bucks every renewal, probably a persistent thing, but I hope what you are saying is true. So maybe when my policy expire, I would get the benefit of the new policy.

i am with geico for more than 10 years, and every year their total just increased more instead of lowering it. i am a perfect safe driver, never have an accident. the increasing total is part of the state fee addon (for who knows what). i called in and asked why, they just kept dragging on and on about how the economy is and that more and more natural disaster in my state the past couple years and they couldn't do anything about it. here is the best part, i tried to call in 3 times to ask why i didnt have any lower rate but am paying more and more every year. they responded (same 3 times) that i already had the lowest rate possible and that they can't lower anymore, unless I am part of the security service, national guards or part of the Union. what the hell? since when a union member can get all the discounts they can and still get more benefit paid for from the government?

What are your coverages and coverage limits, if you mind sharing.

The rates I am getting are way above that.
