TROPICANA is misleading as well...

I had started this thread in a different sub-forum, but it didn't get much traffic. Looks like we've got almost all the same rebate deals. There's also one at Westin for $50 back, but I've heard mixed reviews about it. I'll be giving it a try in September. The Hooters deal (as currently listed on the website) isn't on promo machines anymore. It's similar to the cosmo, trop, etc. deals. I've read many reports of people using the slot play coupons without issue. The bonus for them, is that you don't have to be a new member to use them. It just makes it 40 instead of 50, but still a good deal. If you haven't already, pick up an american casino guide from amazon. $13 with a lot of potential depending on where you'll be in vegas. Careful with the Riviera deal, as you get the other 50% back in 30 days. I won't be back to vegas in the next year, so it would expire on me. |

Also just a general tip, but most places will offer random stuff or a few dollars in free play when you sign up too.
About two months back, Golden Nugget gave 5-1000$ in free play [as determined by a promo slot machine] and, still ongoing as of last week, Binion gives an ace for BJ and a BOGO at their cafe restaurant. (I like the pulled pork or steak and cheese there.) One of the most common signup perks is a buffet after X number of points which I personally find distasteful, but ah well. |
