My understanding is that the play credit is applied once your log in to your google account from a nexus 7 by a specified date, I don't believe it matters where you buy the tablet |

Well, color me not impressed. Retail is $249 for the 16GB. So this is a 6% discount. The only way this would be a good deal is if the Nexus 7 will be immediately sold out everywhere. Is there a specific reason to assume this will happen other than "hot tech item = sold out"? Kind of a big assumption.
