No I won't, you're wrong, as usual. I'll say what I've always said: that religious texts from thousands of years ago are all outdated and shouldn't be followed to the last letter. That includes the Quran. It includes all the others too. Leviticus is like a criminal's handbook. It's funny how religious nuts can point to all of the idiotically outdated things from these texts, like murder for the silliest transgression, and say we shouldn't do that because it's stupid; Yet they still stand by homosexuality being an "abomination".

Is your claim that every idea that the founding fathers had should be viewed as good because of whom they were? What is your position on copyright law? How long is long enough before protected work should become public domain? By even the strictest of our found father's positions, the entire Beatles catalog would be public domain by now.

another bad analogy, speed limits and the "rule of law" as you so generally put it, are for public safety. My original post talked about big banks, big corporations and the erosion of the Constitution...which any scholar of basic history knows the founding fathers vehemently opposed.

Of course they were, because they WROTE the Constitution. But that doesn't mean they weren't wrong about stuff. We let everyone be a whole person now, nobody is 3/5. Women can vote. Senators are elected by popular vote. A whole slew of shit has "eroded the Constitution", because a lot of what was in the original was deemed to be a bad idea. I don't want to go back to the Constitution pre-1791.
