Great deal OP.
Wish my Dad would have held out for the same. Alas, he needed to get a replacement car ASAP over the 4th. Accord LX @ $199/36 0 down out the door. Last edited by F1Racer; 07-10-2012 at 06:41 AM.. |

Not to split hairs or anything, but $300 per month for 4 years doesn't pay off a $15000 car loan. $300 x 48 months = $14400, so you're a little short. Plus you haven't figured in interest on a used car loan - I'm showing 1.9% at my credit union, which makes the monthly payment $325.36. Now if you want to buy that same car over 3 years (the usual lease term), your monthly payment is going to jump up to $429.57.....that's $182.57 per month more than the OP is paying for their lease......saying him/her $6572.52 over that 3 year period. Now, assuming the OP really is deadset on an Accord, and this particular body style, they might have considered a used 2008-2012 Accord. Maybe something like this: http://www.cars.com/go/search/det...d=93844993 That's the lowest mileage Accord I could find for under $15k within 30 miles of the OP.....and that actually doesn't seem like a bad deal. I'm not a fan of leases, but having just bought a car 3 years ago, I realize that it is being increasingly difficult to find a new car for under $17k. Buying one over 60 months is going to be $284 per month or more. That might get you into a Fit or Civic, but not an Accord. Haywood Jablomi ![]() Stimulating the economy, one slick deal at a time! If I tolerate something, I'm showing tolerance. So, if I ignore something am I then showing ignorance? |

I called up a local honda dealer and spoke to the fleet sales guy, I was offered the exact deal in the post on the first shot.
I wonder if there is any more room to negotiate in these deals edit: I don't have the money factor in front of me, but for this deal with top tier credit the converted interest rate works out to about 1.1 percent. |

Another thing guys, there are good deals to be had on the accord whether you choose to lease or buy. They are dumping these things to get ready for the new model, so if you don't need the absolute latest and greatest you can really get a nice car for the money.

The deal I paid on the 2012 Accord SE 3 months ago was $0 down, $228/m out the door with 10k miles for 36 months (with 1st month free).
I had a $4000 loss on the trade (stupid german resale value) that I added to the payments ($111/m) so my total monthly is $339. |
