Dell returns, cancellations with promotional gift cards
Dell has offered a promotional gift card with the purchase of a gift card a few times in the past. After placing orders with these cards at the outlet, one of my orders was cancelled by Dell and one was cancelled by myself BEFORE any product shipped. I would think no restocking fees would apply.
In both cases, I am waiting for credit to be reapplied to the promotional cards. How long do I have to wait for a refund? The rep that cancelled my order could not tell me how long I would have to wait. I just wish Dell would be more honest with regards to any fees they are going to apply, before they charge them.
Has anyone had a good or bad experience when making a Dell return or cancellation with promotional gift cards?
