Freedom & Freebies
In the spirit of Freedom week, we wanted to remind you of yet another freedom we treasure here at Slickdeals. In addition to freedom from paying full price, we also offer the freedom from paying any price at all - if you’re as strategic and dedicated as our forefathers were. So, when was the last time you visited the Freebies forum?
The Freebies forum, like the freedom we enjoy, is not for the faint of hearts. Freedom came at a price, and unfortunately it does take some effort to finally get the freebie that catches your eye. Aside from the Hot Deals-like list of threads on Freebies, which mostly require a bunch of Facebook liking, the Freebies forum has three other sections, Surveys, Magazines and Digital Goods.
Surveys, as what can easily be inferred, require more commitment in time and information than other freebies. Rewards are reasonable if you’re looking for gift cards and have been as high as $75 this week. The Magazine sub-forum requires less time and free subscriptions have come from Forbes, Better Homes & Gardens and Guitar World to name a few. Aside from apps, the Digital Goods sub-forum also offers free e-books and songs.
