I have been looking to buy a Liberator Wedge (if you don't know what this is, Google it) and the price has been too high. Price vary from $65 to $105. This Mabis Foam Wedge is for medical usage but the shape and size fits the same purpose as the Liberator. I know you can use a pillow but I thought this might be better? Wink

Only downside for this Mabis Foam Wedge is the cover. I read that it is rather thin. I'm custom making some covers if it works out well for my intended usage. Big Grin

The following are comments found on Amazon:
"Have you looked at or priced a sex wedge??? you have to say REALLY? for a pillow? well ladies and gents this bad boy here does the job JUST fine and for a very reasonable price! If you want some sex spice look no further you found your new friend! "

"I bought this for my wife's acid reflux. It is very gradual and she is able to lay on it while still feeling well rested. We also discovered the benefits of its other uses and now I think I am beginning to enjoy it more than she does. Now I know why George Clooney's character in "Burn After Reading" was carrying it with him in one of the early scenes. Love it. "

Not when you have a girlfriend to test it out with. laugh out loud
Since it's basically the same as the Liberator, and looking at pictures on their site, seems to be quite functional. drool

I am Liberator representative.

Svault,

While Mabis' product is a wedge shape, our Liberator Wedge is designed and tested specifically for your evening adventures. In other words, we have tried, tested and continue to search for the best materials and optimal stitching techniques. Liberator shapes last for years of bumping and grinding because we make them in the USA for the best quality control (our CEO watches the production line daily).

Our wedge is made of up-cycled premium furniture foam, cut to the perfect angle, 27 degrees. (once you try it you'll know why 27 degrees is perfect) Our covers, which come in multiple colors, are removable and washable. Also, if you're into the "50 Shades of Grey" phenomena we offer "black label" shapes with playful restraints.

Thank you for taking a look at Liberator and our offerings.

Thank you for your response. Once I get the Mabis product, I will test its functional usage and get back to you. Any chance you want to send me a Liberator wedge so that I can test the difference and if the exact 27 degrees is as perfect as you said? Big Grin

I bought a similar foam wedge and it goes flat. Propping yourself up in bed is a TOTALLY different use than supporting a girl's hips.

I buy my foam products for custom made beds (combination of extra firm foam, latex foam and memory foam) from FoamByMail.com and they seem to have a variety of wedges (if 27 degree is not the optimal for you!) that can add variety with different angles I guess! I did not compare the prices (One should not when it comes to matters like this!).

If 27 degrees is the best, then this one fits

http://www.amazon.com/Wedge-Pillo...004BDG6LE/

It's $40, not $22 but still cheaper then $200+.

Functionally, I would say it is okay. A couple of things:
1) The cover for the wedge isn't that great. Stains pretty easily. But $22 vs $160. For the amount saved, it served it's purpose.
2) The height for serving dishes for eating activities is sufficient.
3) Wish it was higher for certain dog activities. This is dependant on the person's height. If you aren't too tall, this would be ok. Frankly, I think the 10" or 12" height might be better.
4) I don't think the 27 degrees is really that important. As long as it gets the deed done, who cares what the degrees is. Don't you think so?

Hope it helps. Have fun!

** PS. There's no HDMI. But maybe there's a hidden DVI plugin somewhere. Will let you know when I find it. =)

Yah, I'm pretty tall so I think I'll go with 12". Have you experienced Post #7 (the material going flat).

Confused Obivously Mabis has never taken trig. How can the leg and hypotenuse both be 24"?
arcsin(12/24)=30 deg
arctan(12/24)=26.6 deg
arccos(24/24)=0 laugh out loud
