Amazing Spider-Man Game

They are very different games and both a lot of fun. That question made me question my choice of best game. I’ll probably play through SD again after I finish this one. SD is very arcadey. In it’s favor, it has juggle combos, a funnier Spiderman, and four different Spidermen for more variety. In the negative column the web swinging was restricted to zip points in certain areas. I also didn’t like the sections where you fall down or fly up a tube and had to dodge large objects. Those were more annoying than fun.

Amazing Spiderman has less combat moves but the combat system feels more impactful and rewarding. In this game you can web zip pretty much anywhere by using the web rush system. You can aim at a spot and he finds a way to get there. This game makes you feel like a hero. There are a lot people around the city that need help. As a nice touch, if you try to attack a civilian, Spiderman will give them a compliment or ask them how their day is going . It also has the staple battles with huge bosses that have glowing weak areas. This also lets you choose when you want to do a mission or a side activity and I appreciate that in a game.

In summary, SD is a cartoony action game. Amazing is a more realistic, open world game.

The review that I read stated you could web swing attached to nothingness unlike Spider-Man 2, the actual greatest spider man game ever made.

That is true. If you hold down a shoulder button you can web swing around the city, even if you're flying over a park with nothing above you. It's awesome.

True enough, the acting was great.....for the minors characters who barely had one scene, :/ the guy who played James Gordon did a fair job, Rachel was really boring and typical for a Batman love interest, actually, the guy who played Harvey Dent was alright too...but Christian Bale as Batman? ugh....he made me want to put a gun to my head.

?? This thread is about Spiderman, not Batman. And just to clarify, the Christian Bale Batman movies are greatness.

Spider-Man is one of my favorite game.i play this game on PS3 it's really interesting for me to play this game on PS3.

Spider games has lots of version. i have played most of spider man games version. its really amazing games and its fighting categories games.

But it's nothing like the real movies, comic, or cartoon. He has to have something to web shoot onto.
