Heads Up: Club Nintendo 2012 Rewards are out!

I only got Elite the first 2 years, kind of glad I didn't bother the past 2 as the rewards realllly do suck compared to the past.

I got $20 for the pins/buttons from last year, and I will gladly put up the posters this year, so I don't mind. :-p

they had the zelda poster for 400 points and i was wondering why they got rid of it, now i know.. to bring it back as some "amazing" reward

they also don't ship until december? that sucks

They usually say the rewards will arrive by December - last year I got my buttons well before December.

Also, they had 2 separate 3-poster sets for The Legend of Zelda, one of which was a limited time one (Skyward Sword posters) and is long gone. In the Platinum reward set, the Zelda poster is a modified version of one of the posters in the limited set, but still is a different poster in terms of content and color - this one is gold and only shows certain characters, whereas the limited edition one it's based off of had a more purple-ish color scheme and more characters on it. Plus, you get 2 entirely new posters with it, from Luigi's Mansion 2 and Kid Icarus.

I'm content with the posters, though a bit dissatisfied in the end too, but the one poster set was gone long before the Platinum and Gold rewards, I believe.

Looks like site is back up. I definitely agree, their platinum gifts have went down hill lately. I love my Statue and my Mario Hat from years past, but this year, looks like the only thing that was ok, was the playing cards. I already own a bunch of posters, old aged games and a cheap calendar.

Come on Nintendo, dropping the ball here on your Club Nintendo Rewards. Yes, I do know they are basically free for just buying games you already want, but still. Compare them to Japan's gifts and they are night and day.
