But seriously, if your TV is less than 165 lbs (which most TVs are, my 55" LCD is 65lbs) then one shouldn't worry about it being secured if installed properly. Just remember to follow the instructions, especially the part about putting the screws through the studs. If your TV uses the VESA mounting standard, buy it. Not sure if there other standards, but the metal pieces that attaches to your TV has so many holes that it should work on all TVs. |

This is actually a great mount. I have my Samsung 60 in plasma on one. My parents also bought one to put their 60 in Sharp on. Purchased them a while back for about $30 on Amazon. Buy a good stud finder and don't use the level that comes with it, buy a better level.

FWIW I have the same Cheetah and the Walmart mount below, both supporting 55" ST30's Plasmas and they're both rock solid. I do chin-up excercises from both from time to time.

I just paid $21.00 for the same thing. It's a pretty good bracket, the cable's pretty good too, but bulky.
