The stainless steel version is perfect for immersion in hot liquids (soup, chili).

Been looking for one of these for a while, they've been sold out here for months. Maybe someday soon they will come in again.

Nice deal, but "instant mail-in rebate" made me chuckle.

Hopefully, this puree baby food cuz my cuisinart CPB-300 blade base just broke on me.

I liked the small pot for the same reason - to make baby food!

The chopping bowl is the best. Not really durable, but has been working great for me for a year. Love this machine.

This has 3 year limited warranty. I also read on the reviews of this product that Cuisinart has very good customer support. I am glad to hear that you have been using it for a year and happy with it. For the price getting all the accessories is really makes it even more worth it.

Can't comment on this particular product, but cuisinart doesn't have good customer support IMO. good thing Costco had my back lol

I bought a 12 cup cuisinart stainless food processor at least 5 years ago from costco which my wife loves that works great to this day.

So when we wanted a blender Costco had their version of the Smart power 600 we got it because of previous good experience with cuisinart... God that was a POS!!! it just pushed the ingredients up the sides of the bowl instead of blending it, cuisinarts response was to stop the blender, use a spoon or spatula to push the stuff down to the blade & restart it. Then the motor had a burning smell, then the bottom assembly where there are discs & nuts for the blade somehow melted & fused & wouldn't spin. It was new & under warranty but cuisinart wanted me to pay shipping when it broke in like a month. Not to mention the burning electrical smell from the motor. Cuisinart said its "normal"

I returned it to Costco & got another one. As soon as we smelled the burning motor I was like screw it.. It's going back. Got a vitamix at Costco roadshow for $375 & it's worked great for years.

My cuisinart coffee grinder sucks too.. Inconsistent grinds from powder to half beans, & messy.

I looked at reviews on amazon & lots of other ppl experienced the same.

I'm sure in time the motor on this will die or the parts connecting the blade. Their expensive stuff is good, but these are the low end stuff with cuisinart badge slapped on it...this is $20, my grinder was $60 & blender was $60 & those all suck.. My cuisinart $400 food processor & $200 grind & brew coffee maker work well other than the grinding mechanism is messy & hard to clean .. So I've since gone to using a conical burr grinder & French press.
